چکیده

Climate change remains one of the world’s significant threats today, and thus Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13 prioritizes countries to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions mitigate climate by 2030. Recent studies have scrutinized impact Information Communications Technologies (ICTs) on environment. However, majority these assumed that environmental ICT is homogenous across countries. This study, therefore, investigated degradation, considering difference in quality among Applying a panel dataset 110 between 2000 2018 instrumental variable generalized method moments (IV-GMM) technique, findings revealed ICTs improve sustainability with high while degrading environment moderate low quality. The results causality analysis also showed bi-directional carbon quality, there uni-directional running from Policies enhance usage through pricing were recommended for help degradation.
